[1] Membership and Registration Guidelines

[1.1] If you wish to participate in the forum discussions registration is required. You must provide a working email address in order to validate your account. You will not be able to post to this site until you have validated your email address.

[1.2] Members are not allowed to register more than one account. Multiple usernames or accounts are not permitted and will be deleted.

[1.3] Members are required to maintain a working email address in their profile.

[1.4] We respect your rights to privacy and do not display any sensitive information which would jeopardise those rights.

[2] Posting Guidelines

[2.1] Please post your messages in one forum. Crossposting is a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate.

[2.2] We do not allow any type of advertising of any kind on the forums without the express permission of an Administrator. This may include, but is not limited to, commercial sites, auctions, or service requests. No exceptions.

[2.3] Name calling or harrassment of any kind directed towards another member or members will not be tolerated.

[2.4] Messages posted with vulgarity, explicit sexual reference, or obscene images will be deleted and a warning issued. We do have a language filter in place but there will always be words missing from the filter so be careful. Links or references to mature content sites will be removed. Help keep our forum clean, and a cut above the rest.

[2.5] Discussions related to pirated software, links to warez sites, or posts related to sharing or stealing software will be removed. A no tolerance policy is in effect.

[2.6] Negative, or disrespectful comments directed towards the Administrators or Moderators of the forums will not be tolerated. Members who wish to take this approach will be warned and your account may be suspended.

[2.7] Users may not argue with a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem cannot be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their position to the forum administrator. The forum administrator will make their decision and it will be final.

[2.8] If you feel any post violates any of these rules then please use the 'Report' button next to the post in question and a moderator will take a look at it and act appropriately.

[2.9] If you notice a topic that is posted in the wrong forum then again please use the 'Report' button to report it and a moderator will move it to the appropriate place.

[5] Site Guidelines

[5.1] The time and effort put in to run the forum is great. If you have suggestions or comments about the site, please present them in a constructive manner.

[5.2] Comments which are derogatory in nature will not be tolerated.

[5.3] If you have a question, suggestion, comment or request please use the Support/Suggestion form (link is at the top of the forums). If you would like to discuss it privately, please use the private mesage system to contact the site administrator, or any of the moderators.

[5.4] Respect other peoples opinions, even though you may not agree. Everyone is entitled to their say, but please do so in a courteous manner. It's easy to flame someone if you disagree, but remember, that type of behaviour is strictly prohibited. We come from different locations, we are a mix of ages, and our backgrounds vary. Take that into consideration before you click the post button. A moment of thought is better than hours of grief. The general rule of thumb is to treat others as you would like to be treated.

[5.5] There will be no racial, ethnic or gender based insults on this forum.

[5.6] When typing messages, please try to consider those who will be reading your words. ALL posts should be made in plain English as it is easier to read than so called txt speak. Most people struggle to decipher txt msg words and sentences, even where English is their first language. Posts made using txt speak will be deleted.

[6.1] If you wish to post images in the gallery they must be UKDirt or motorsport related. Posting of any other image will be removed.

[7.2] We reserve the right to make changes to these guidelines at any time. Any new rules or modifications are automatically accepted by the registered users.

[7.3] We invite you to periodically check this page.

[7.4] If you feel for whatever reason you are unable to follow these simple rules, we respectfully request you move on to greener pastures.

Violation of any of these rules will result in consequences determined on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for visiting the UKDirt forum and we hope you enjoy your stay.
