Anyone painting NAMRAs yet? League anyone?
cartleague replied to cartleague's topic in Non-League / Off Topic
That Webpage or link does not work. -
Just curious as to how many of you have tried the NAMRA mod and have painted some skins for it. If you have, post them. Also, how many want to run a league with them or some fun runs?

Anyone try them out yet? Let us know. A new update to the mod (*addon paints and a world championship) is coming soon at cospers. -
http://cospersracing.4t.com is where to get the newest mod available for dirt or paved-NAMRA mini (Formula) Indycars. These little speed demons are fun to drive and are faster than Sprint cars. I have attached 2 custom paint jobs, which will be available for a future update of the mod. Car 5-THE LION Nigel Mansell 93 style and Car 7 is styled after Michael Andretti's F1 car. Feel free to post comments and custom paints. They are a blast to drive. If you have setups--post them too. http://cp10.shieldhost.com/~fmxbxcom/ebay/...s/mainpage1.htm Is the official (real car) website. 2NAMRACustoms.zip

Right now it looks like 3 US drivers and 1 NZ (AusHeat) and possibly a second AUS driver that have shown interest. Here is additional news. 1 PM EDT (NY TIME)=6 PM UK TIME=3 AM SUNDAY AUSTRALIAN TIME=5 AM NEW ZEALAND TIME SUNDAY. Maybe a two hr. delay may be in order, but that will be have to be discussed. Maybe just race #1 at scheduled time and hold all other races two hours later. Color Schemes: Aqua --- dedicated AusHeat Color. Red-UK Dirt and BWS Color--Please send representatives to compete against AusHeat and US Racers:) Blue-SCCA Club Orange-Modsquad Green-Nascar Heat Racing League Yellow-those who compete in Smoke's Form. Renault League / Group C leagues. If I am missing any leagues, please let me know and I will assign a color from below. All other colors-white, gray, pink, purple or maroon, and gold will be for independent drivers. Feel free to add a National flag to your car.

ATTENTION FELLOW NASCAR HEAT RACERS ACROSS THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. READ BELOW. This league is sanctioned by the NHIRF Yahoogroup: *the follow up to IRF. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nhirf Sign up there, or at the modsquad, or below to sign up to compete in the first ever Nascar Heat Olympics! It will be a blast! A World Nascar Heat Super Series using the IROC 87 Mod (as a neutral all purpose mod which can be downloaded at themodsquad) on all sorts of tracks to see who (from various leagues or independants) would be the best heat racer. Call it an olympics of Heat--something which was mentioned long ago. Tracks for the series would include (with notes when applicable) Dayton2 (from bhms)-Superspeedway Ace (US Short Track-popular among heat leagues) (look under modsquad) Montreal T (Road Course) Adelaide (Street Course) Swaffham or Wembleton (British dirt or shale oval----with allowed full contact racing) (these two and the one below at the brisca heat website). Ipswitch R (Reverse British paved short right turning oval-with allowed full contact racing) Each car would be a different color based on the league they are representing. Races will occur on Saturdays at 1 PM EDT (to accomidate our British fellas). I have no clue what it would be in Australia (for our Aussie brothers who race Heat). As far as a start date *(most likely in two weeks)---that will be determined soon. NOTES: 1.Car color will be decided upon by league. Side Name board on 87 IROC will be the league name you are representing. 2.We would need no more than 3 representatives from each league (or more for independents----just a thought). SCCA-IORS, the Form. Renault leagues, Aussie Leagues, Banger World Series or those who drive Brisca/National Heat, the other Nascar Heat leagues/and or websites such as Modsquad or texasspeedracing. 3. Points will be awarded and each race will last 25-30 laps. Pole-1 Most Laps Led-1 Gold Medal-10 Pts. Silver Medal-8 Pts. Bronze Medal-6 Pts. Then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 Pts. On the British ovals, where there are no pits, there will not be any qualifying and full contact racing will occur on those tracks---so keep your tempers cool (IF YOU GET FENCED by a competitor ).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/nhirf Since IRF is dead, I am proud to announce it's replacement-Nascar Heat Race Finder , a yahoogroup devoted to posting of IP's/league race ip's for all Nascar Heat fun and league races. It is free and open to anyone to subscribe and post. I do invite our British/West European Nascar Heat brothers to join in this group and post your races on the group. When you click on the link above, make sure you carefully read and follow the rules for the group. Also personally speaking, I would love to see as many UK Heat mod races posted as it might get our US brothers and Aussie Brothers interested in your form of racing (both contact and non-contact). So, besides posting on the UK Dirt forum, please make a posting on the nhirf yahoogroup Sincerely, Cartleague (Keith) USA

Honda Michelin Cup-fun -new league starting
cartleague replied to cartleague's topic in Non-League / Off Topic
http://www.iorsracing.com is the new site to access the league. for the person having problems getting the mod to work-it does not have a desktop icon. You have to copy one of the desktop icons (brisca). After doing that, right mouse click on that new copied icon and then rename the icon to HMC. Then right mouse click on it a second time and go to properties. Change the properties from Brisca to HMC in the first long line. I know that NZ will be competing. Maybe someone will compete to represent team UK. -
http://www.texasspeedracing.com has the new Honda Michelin Cup cars great to drive on ovals and on road courses (only have to set up brakes and gears). No wings no grille tape/front wings. I will be hosting some Honda Michelin Cup action later this evening. Go get them. If you want to participate in a league with them, http://racing.examp.com under General League thread. Sign up there. We will have a 6 event series.

Just wondering who has the game known as Mini Racing Online? I would like to race against some English speaking folks on some new circuits (including one new oval-LaPorte Speedway) *see below to download the circuit and another oval. http://www.miniracingonline.com (click on the Union Jack to get a English translation of the website. (game very popular in Spain and some other places nearby). English speakers run it too. Download 77c version. There are a bunch of circuits to get on the page. Some ovals and other circuits (super easy to create) at http://cartheatleague.tripod.com/mrotracks.html (LaPorte Speedway, GP de New York (CART proposed WTC track=1993) and USGP Phoenix. Enduros like Big track and Dallas Enduro there too. So, post your name and maybe we can set up some races (who knows---even a league). Happy New Year (and may 05 be better than 04). Pray for the families of the lost & missing in Asia! Cartleague bloomingtonMRO.zip LaPorteMRO.zip

Sorry-ran out of room in title. Anyone have any interest at all in starting up the BALMC (British American Latemodel Cup (using the nLMH v1B (updated in car view car). The racing was excellent and I'm sure others would testify to that. If not...who wants to do a British Road Racing Cup using the Ferrari 550 mod cars or a British Super Open Wheel Cup (your pic of Champ cars (CART2) or Formula Renault 2000 cars (on British / French Road tracks and ovals) and maybe a couple US tracks thrown in for good measure ) 1.80 patch required for this league (if we run Lemans or Long Beach) Lets hear from all who are interested.
