  1. Seen it, and Enjoyed it

A lot of it was very interesting, had a couple of mates watching it aswell(who dont go to the racing), from what theyve said, they enjoyed it(maby some new stox fans :-) )....

The Bit with Barry Lee/Haird in the hotrods was a nice feature to have, would have fitted nice into the likes of the Hotrod world programme, but hey, cant complain, our sport on TV, its all good!!!

  2. Jamison pulled in the leading 5 a good bit in the middle stint of the race, was gaining a good bit for around 10laps on them but when he got to within half the straight away from 5th place he clipped the German backmarker #93 giving himself a puncture, was an unlucky accident.

Not sure about 844, I know he didnt do enough wq's to get the points to be in the top 20 and qualify for the world, although he done the support races, which were won by Ht1 Colin White, Ht2 + Ht3 Colin Smith, and the Meeting Final 777 Les Compelli

  3. Cant exactly call myself one of the orignal Ukdirt bunch(joined the forum in dec02-not this 1, the one before the one before this lol) and started racing in march03.

I tend to just read the forum now though, only posts I make really are in the hotrod admin bit, or posting up the mi or results, cause quite a lot of other stuff written on seems to be people either posting pointless stuff or stirring up an argument, although its only a small minority, if i want to read arguments i can go elsewhere :banghead2:

thats my input lol, i'll go hide in a box again

  4. Ive found this thread actually quite interesting, heres the story from good old Norn Iron...

When I was growing up, take example in 1999, you'd go into my local town (Dungannon) and the only foreign person you'd see would be George and his family, who own the local chinease (does great food aswell!), apart from that There was a very very very small minority (I can think of 1 indian doctor and that was actually it that lived in town) who were not actually native to N.I. Since 2000 the local chicken factory has brought in thousands of migrant workers (Our town had a grand old population of 8000) You take now in town theres 8000 of N.I People and theres 8000 foreigner's, the population doubeled. After Moy Park bringing lots of workers in, the local engineering firms all started to employ foreigners, its got now most places you look they are working in it, theres even ones cleaning in my school. Thats Poles, Russians(think they are actually latvians, lithuianians, ukrianians etc) Portugease(theres a lot of them around). The whole thing has brought a very mixed reaction to the area(its the same story all over N.I) But you take example the village I live in, 9 years ago there were maby around 30 houses, Now theres been 2 estates built (60ish houses in each) all rented out to Migrant workers.

Its all changed over here lol, but everyone just gets on with things...

Bounced slightly off topic, but thought i'd post that one, was quite interesting reading everyones views lol

  5. Slightly O/T But

Ive seen on here people with a black task bar, and an orange start button as their theme, is that Windows XP, or Vista, if its XP how do I get that? as My 3 options are the Blue, Silver or Green, not that fussed on any of them tbh... lol

    Cheers

Have you tried the auto trader website? Seems a bit duh duh, but most people actually dont bother looking on it, im sure you'd be able to get an Aprillia SR50 for pretty decent money from someone, try looking on there at the various diff makes etc and you'll find something
