Greets chaps. We are planning on using 1 server tomorrow as the new circuit allows people to watch the game from the 'terraces' lol.

everyone meets up in BAT Chat at 9:50 where we can ensure that the password etc is sorted, plus it is a place to go hould anything go wrong etc.

We are playing first to 5 matches for the heats. After a goal is scored, the game restarts with the team who have conceded the goal bringing the puck out from their own goal. The defending team must be on their own wall. Once the puck has passed the attackers first line (the one in their half) the game is active.

Unlimited subs are allowed but only 5 drivers at anyone time on each side.

The server will be callled BAT.Ice Hockey

As having 5 teams create an inbalance, the allstar team will be made up of the other teams. Once a puck is scored, a team comes on and the other team goes off.This is also a little revenge as I had to have Hutch playing we are the champions down MSN last Friday evening.lol

If you are a registered member of BAT forums, all you have to do is click on the "Chatroom" under "Rfactor Menu" and it will automatically log you into the chatroom.

If your not a member of the BAT forums, you have 2 options. Register on the forums or simply click on "Chatroom" and you will be presented with a "Login as Admin, Moderator or Member" link. Click it then select "Register" (make sure to put a valid email address in as it's required for validation). Once you receive the email simply click the link within the email and then login.

Each team can field 5 drivers at anyone time with unlimited subsitutions. Games are played on a 'first to five' scoring basis.

Madcowie has re designed the track and fixed the errors. The 'stadium' looks fantastic and gives the game a real atmospheric feel to it.

we will be trying to gaina more 'international flavour' to the matches to a later start is better for this. It wil run much better next week. Most of the problems stemmed from the circuit as the puck get bouncing out. Cowie will have this sorted for next week so games willl be much quicker. lol

Many thanks to team UK Dirt tonight. Cowie is making a new ice rink for next Friday that will 'iron' out all of the errors.

We will get it better organised etc for next so that should sort out the admin problems.

Speaking of admin problems, sorry for the confusion in regard to your last race. My fault as I forgot to give you the super admin details.

I'll get all that sorted but thats why this was a test session. lol

Minutes per game - 15

Object of the game

To score more goals than the opposition by hitting the 'puck' completely over the in goal line. That means that all of the puck must cross the line to score.

Once a goal is scored, both teams MUST start back in their in goal line.

Teams are allowed to send team mates in first before the puck to clear the path. (Blocking)

The timer is set to 15 minutes. Once this time is up, the game will end.

Points

Win = 3 points

Draw = 1 point

Loss = bugger all

Language in the server

Drivers are requested not to use foul or abusive language to either their own team mates or the opposition. Offenders will be kicked leaving thier team a driver short.

Other than that, there are no rules. Fouls (blocking) is allowed.

ps. No nead to download the NFL skins. We are playing at this point with Pigs against Cows. Teams may want to create their own skins in the future but hold fire with this.

When you get chance fellas, can you register your team on the BAT. forums. We plan on having this as a weekly event although this Fridays games are by 'special' invite and as you lot are very 'special' indeed, you were first on the invite list.

Sim-Stox and BAT Gaming are teaming up to host a tri tournament of rfactor Ice Hockey this Friday at 10:30 pm.

We are hoping you guys can get a team together and play against us and possibly FOG Racing Team in a 5 a side match. We are looking at playing for 15 mins per match and run a little tourney.

I reckon you would love this fellas and if you can get a team together from here (UK Dirt), it will be a real fun night.

Ahh well grats to all of those who races and scored points etc.

I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway as I have other racing commitments on a Wednesday evening.

Cracking meeting fellas and very well run as always.

Big Al, keep plugging away fella. There is no doubt that you will score points soon. The more I race rFactor, the more I realise that you start to anticipate better, other drivers lines and actions. I guess it's a subconscious approach to understanding the physics of the game and also realising that one of your greatest assets is in fact patience. When you first start to race, the nerves always start to come into effect and so thinking about keeping tight lines when you find yourself leading a race goes 'out of the window'. As your experience grows however and you start to feel more comfortable with the handling of the set ups for the car, you gain a confidence that will undoubtedly result in much improved results.

We all have loads of sob stories of being in the lead of races and then bad luck strikes. Although there is always an element of luck that is most welcomed, it is no coincidence that the top drivers always seem to come through the majority of races in very strong positions.
