here is my shale skin

done craig that worked done it through the desktop just got to complete the shale car now

since updating to the new version im trying to put my car back in the game but im hitting trouble

im trying to change the VEH.file to my name and no. but i keep getting this problem it wont save the changes and ive tried everything i can think of can someone help please?

That's an odd one - have you tried saving it on your desktop and then copy and pasting it into the folder?

thanx guys ive managed to get my white roof car in the game but how do i get the other grades in there aswell?

ive got my car dds files. which folder do i have to put them in so i can see my cars on screen ? ive put them in what i think is right but its not working can some one help please.

 

Here Stu C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\F1Stockcar\ShaleOL

 

& also for your tarmac chassis C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\F1Stockcar\TarmacOL

 

Need to make sure you have the correct VEH.file too in the same folder for your chosen chassis.

i have a microsoft sidewinder but it wont clamp onto the table i have coz the table is to thick .

does everyone use a wheel ? as i have a different table now which my computer sits on and tried to clip the wheel to it but its to big for the wheel,so it looks like i may have to use a control pad instead, does anyone else use one?

i now have rfactor and the f1 mod on it (just need to download tracks) but i cant remeber how change the camera angle and to zoom in and out to suit your own view of the track?

By 'timing out' do you mean the download won't start or the download is starting and then hanging and cancelling itself? if it's not starting i wonder whether it's because you're trying to download an exe file and your anti-virus is protecting your pc from what it thinks is a malicious file?

 

anyway, i tried a couple of the links on rfactor.net:

 

this was the fastest rate exe file download i found

click here and click 'show more download options' for link to a zip file rfactor on a UK server

 

hope these work for you - don't forget once you have the download to set yourself as administrator (or Disable User Account Control when it comes to installing the game.

thanx wrighty ive managed to download it now so just need to install the stox bit

im returning to rfactor from a layoff this year but i uninstalled it all ages ago.

i got my activation code to download it all again but it keeps timing out on downloading it

has anyone got a link for the correct rfactor download as im not sure im doing the right one

also has anyone got any ideas why its doin it?

Well first of all you destroyed my semi final, then you destroyed my grand national. I made the mistake of passing you clean in the semi final for you to spin me in the next corner so I learnt my lesson that your not one of the people that race clean.

i think you will find that in the semi i was hit by trav which made me spin you out.
