Rikard Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Where is Arena? i have never been before but would like to go, is there any links to a webiste? i done a search and didn't find much. Is there a place where i can find directions from Brighton? cheers Rikard
Knobby Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 www.arena-essex-raceway.co.uk All on there and there are some directions, Its right next to Lakeside if that helps. If all fails do an Auto-route to RM19 AE1 from your postcode and takes you striaght there.
Rikard Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 (edited) Sorry forgot to ask, Iv looked at the site, Is there much trafic on the roads? like people going to Lakeside? Is the car park big enough? cause iv been to Wimbledon meetings when the car park gets full quickly. Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is an "Open Shootout" Iv never been to a non Spedeworth track, i feel like im betraying them a little lol. Is the shoot out a big event? roughly how many bangers? Sorry for all the questions thanks for any replys, there very helpful Rikard Edited May 9, 2006 by Rikard
lenny Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 shootout is the name of the meeting, should be around the 100 car mark going of previous figures

lewis208 Posted May 10, 2006 Author Report Posted May 10, 2006 the traffic from lakeside wouldnt affect arena i dont think but 1 thing that does on big meetings liek this and firecracker getting in the que is long cheerz tombo
Marcy_Boi#133 Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 I'll be there on turn 3/4 with a notepad and camera as usual. Pop over and say hello, I don't bite! Lakeside shouldn't be a problem, arrive nice and early. I think 100 cars might be a bit adventurous..70-80 more likely considering there has been that amount the last few years. For Rikard...click here for last year's report and here for the Photos. Ta, Marc
