dangerous damo Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 i had a 1600 capri to collect and the guy rang me to say it had been stolen. it was a blue mercedes truck with a white stripe on the cab and a black hiab. they were caught on cctv cameras at midday!. any help would be grately appreciated. the car was in maxey, cambs. cheers, damo. Im sure that between all of us we can sort something out! will try mate. ill ask the guy who owned it. they turned up at midday. it was behind a hedge. bloke jumped over the gate put chains through and his mate lifted him and the car out onto the truck . no reg on camera tho . looks like itll be a bluey for crashattack now. cheers, damo. Good idea, if you can post a picture up of the HIAB on as many forums and websites as you can and spread the word , also try putting up a notice on the bangerphotos,com website as they get plenty of hits each day. That way someone should be able to recognise the truck at a meeting, and if so the promoter may have a record of the person, eg address, contact numbers etc. Chances are that if they stole the Capri it won't be a one off, and they may continue to steel other cars also.
