Richie978 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 This is my first attempt at a real skin, It's of my mate Tim Spinks who race at this years Mildenhall pre 70s. Let me know what you think
Haadee#525 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 blue color is not 100% the same as on photo
Rikard Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 I think you need to brighten up the blue a bit, add more white into the paint but apart from that it looks acurate and very good
erik Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Good attempt, looks quite accurate. I know Real life skins aren't always easy.
reg126 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 You got the colour layouts and most the work done well. Not sure what prog you are using for skinpainting but you are loosing the details by painting in solid rather than merging. By merging you wont loose the detail and you may find the blue to be a lot closer to the photographed car. Keep at it!! Get some more done and have fun doing them.
splinter Posted August 14, 2006 Report Posted August 14, 2006 Don't know what they're all on about...looks great to me! PS, "make the main 114 smaller and move it forward a touch"
