theboss Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 Hi, i am having a few probs painting some cars. When in psp and I look at layers some appear missing. MK3cortina for instance, I cannot find the layers to paint the sides? Also, how do i paint the 'bits' seperately. cheers
mcrew Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 For the ' bits' you just have to choose the bits layer, then individualy airbrush the bit that you want, the colour that you want it. I cant help with the missing layers though, have you tried to downloading the template again?
theboss Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Just downloaded again bit no joy! Also noticed there isn't a template for the mk2 granny saloon?
mcrew Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 That dont sound right. Heres the MK2 to be getting on with [attachmentid=8675] GranIIs.zip
mcrew Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 And heres the MK3 'tina to see if that cures it. [attachmentid=8677] CortinaMK3.zip
theboss Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Cheers for that Will give these a go
Tombo209 Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 doh was posting it up then done sumin else lool
The London Allstar Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 By any chance, are u a frequent photoshopuser? I mean because if you have just started with the programme, you may not have realised that you can move the yers up and down, so the pessenger and driver sides of the car layers may be a little further up or down Just something ithought off
theboss Posted August 25, 2006 Author Report Posted August 25, 2006 Hi, I use psp 7, not photoshop. I needed to open up the layers tool, which reveals all of the layers (rather than the default 9 layers in the layer tab at the top!!). Have started painting my Granada and have a few problems. 1) How do i get rid of the layer names cos they appear on the final version of the car? 2) I am using the hue/saturation tool. Is this right? Cos i seem to have a slight purple tint in the black? cheers
vivadave Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 On the layers menu, one of them will be the labels, so you have to locate the correct one and delete that layer to remove the labels.... The hue saturation etc works fine, just play around with each of them till you find the colour your looking for, cos a little movement can change the colour quite a bit.... Hope that helps m8 Vivadave169....
Haadee#525 Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 the layer of side or something else you need to desaturate (ctrl+shift+u) then create new layer -> change layer optoins to overlay and then brush it the color you want it
