Rikard Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Hi all, In its 102nd year, there will be hundreds of cars and motorbikes in all different categories, including very very rare old classics, including a 12 liter 1930's Le Mon Bently, quite a sight and thunderous sound seeing it light up the quarter mile, and give some cars 70 years younger a run for their money. You can go up and walk all around the cars and chat to their friendly enthusiasts owners. Some very fast Escorts down there, including a mk1 that was faster than a Ferrari and caused quite a cheer, aswell as some super mad people on some super fast drag bikes that you have to cringe when you see them at 18,000 revs on the start line waiting to drop the clutch to blast of down the a quarter mile of the famous Madeira Drive. You can read more about it here, plus some pictures from previous years; http://www.pistonheads.com/features/bright...peed-trials.htm Anyone going? if you want any more info then reply here or send a PM, entrance to paddock and terrace £10, think under 14 free. Great day out for the family!
