Badura_Racing258 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Was Pete McVay out in his Hot Rod? Or did he bottle it? Anyone got a lsit of the Saloons that were there?
Counter552 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Was Pete McVay out in his Hot Rod? Or did he bottle it? Anyone got a lsit of the Saloons that were there? 10064 He was out, not sure if he will be (allowed) again for a while though. Healthy turn out of rods with some pretty quick newbie's making it quite entertaining with white top 54 winning the final after the escort of 777's engine expiry slowed down the chargin Billy Bonnar. Much better turnout than the last 2 weeks with 402 Webster making the trip up again. He had good battles all night long with Lindsay Wilson. Didn't write down who was there, but some good racing, with white top 501 picking up another final win. I think there was a big engine blow up in almost every formula last night.
Andymek Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Was Pete McVay out in his Hot Rod? Or did he bottle it? Anyone got a lsit of the Saloons that were there? 10064 1. Yes he was there last night Hack, and as Counter mentioned there's a good chance he wont be back for some considerable time!! 2. 16 SSC there last night as well, with 2 new drivers and 1 returnee I believe. Go onto www.mylaps.com and you'll get all the info you could ever need!!!
Mac219 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Just watched DVD today, and it seems McVay was slapping the wrong bloke, Think it was our own 'Milkman #6' that helped the 88 car in the wall, Unfortunately Chas Bain and his old man got their dishes panned for nowt Great meeting, my 1st up there this year Cheers Mac
Kev152 Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 6 and 88 had a coming together yes. Whether 6 drove him in deliberatly, only he will know. Maybe 88 tapped him on the way past and put im out of control somewhat. I dont know. I did see 88 tapping him a few times though, prior to the incident. Chas and Gary I believe are mates, thus the reason Chas' dad coming onto track. If Gary is found guilty, He may incur a ban for a few meetings. Chas may also get a ban for his mechanics actions. Pete, I'd think would definately get a ban for his assault on Gary and Chas' dad and maybe some mechanics. Not sure if it will be on the DVD or not, but if it is, buy it, have a look for youself, before making judgement on the incident.
