westy Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 hi, another nwebie thing, i cat get my TGA to covert to TEX i have done it the way the guide shows and its says MKTEX is not recognized as a internal or external command operable programme or batch file any ideas?????

Guest Scrapman53 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Try this. Unzip and move the whole folder to my docs. When you've painted your skin, save it as a .tga uncompressed 24bit to this folder. Double click the textures icon, then in a second or so a new file will appear in the folder called carxxx.tga.tex Right click on the new file and select rename, then type carxxx.tex One .tex file created. It's much easier than using the command prompt. tga_2_tex.zip
