trouble converting

hi, another nwebie thing, i cat get my TGA to covert to TEX i have done it the way the guide shows and its says MKTEX is not recognized as a internal or external command operable programme or batch file any ideas?????

i have manged to make a TEX, only when i put the text in the driver file the game does not load if i just leave the novice cars on with out mine it does???

thats the error msg, if i add my car at the bottom of list in the drivers texted thats wot happens,

but if i replace one of the novice cars in the tex file it works fine but it has my car where a novice used to be

Try this.

 

Unzip and move the whole folder to my docs.

 

When you've painted your skin, save it as a .tga uncompressed 24bit to this folder.

 

Double click the textures icon, then in a second or so a new file will appear in the folder called carxxx.tga.tex

 

Right click on the new file and select rename, then type carxxx.tex

 

One .tex file created. It's much easier than using the command prompt. :thumbs_up:
