easy dudes this is me first car i designed/signed, me nice pink 269 rce chassis, in photoshop! you probably recognise it as the car that’s usually being lapped, in the way, swerving uncontrollably down the straights, hitting the fence or parked up on the infield etc!

i'm envious of all these nice 3d renders & i'm wondering if anybody could help me please?! do you build the car from scratch or is there somewhere i can acquire the chassis file? i've done some modelling in maya but i doubt my ability in being able to build/ copy an actual f2 :/ also is it strictly 3dmax people are working in? as i have maya 7!

my cousin, built & raced the rce chassis that’s raced in ukdirt f2's a few seasons back & he'll be racing online soon! i've already signed his game chassis but it'd be nice if i could do a nice shiny render of his game car for him!

if anyone can help that'd be real cool & would be appreciated

cheers

Click the layer tha corresponds to the piece of bodywork you want to paint. It will be labelled, so if u was the drivers side, click the drivers side layer

different mods seem to have different templates? the imp template ive just looked at has a mask layer & the cortina template has the actual panels cut out seperately! you may need to magic wand each panel seperatly before you fill or you could adjust the hue & saturation if your using photoshop? pm me if you get stuck :)
