There is an easier way out there where you put the tga in a folder press one button and it comes up car***.tga.tex then just rename . i had this but not on new laptop

tyied that but it comes up with "no mapfile present, unsupported image type 10"

Make sure you save the TGA as 24bit Uncompressed

The "No Mapfile" bit is correct - it should say that

cheers mate, i was saving them as compressed
