Phil94 Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 my computer keeps re-booting can anyone help me
Mr Beef Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Mine did that a few years back. Got a message first, then shut down. It was a worm virus. Imanaged to get on the net and get a fix otherwise I would have had to reformat.
F2-Fan Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Run your anti virus see if that picks anything up, I agree sounds like you have a virus.
walker Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 My pc used to reboot all the time when it felt like it and got told it was a virous so had to get it fixed
Guest Scrapman53 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 If it's not a virus, it could be overheating. Take the side off the PC and have a look at the heatsinks behind any fans. You'd be amazed at the ammount of dust that a fan can draw into the heatsink, causing overheating problems.
