rFactor wont work.

I had rFactor on my pc a while ago, and it worked just fine.

Since then I uninstalled it, but now that Ive re-installed it, it wont work.

When I try to start the game, I can hear the game music running in the background, but my monitor goes blank and shows a " Input signal out of range" message.

The only way to stop the pc after this is to kill the power, as using Ctrl/Alt/Delete does nothing.

Ive tried un-installing/re-installing the game a couple of times, but I still get the same problem.

Go to your game directory and run the configure rfactor exe. Set the resolution and the refessh rate the lowest. If that works you will then need to just play about to find out what your monitor can handle.

Sounds right - those symptoms suggest it's trying to display a resolution (for example 1600x1200) or a refresh rate (for example 100hz) which your monitor can't handle.

Yep deffo, game is trying to run at either too high a resolution or too high a refresh rate and your monitor is shutting down so it doesn't get damaged
