damiengibson Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 Hi guys, i'm having a drama with my USB ports, i have done for some time. The problem is that when i plug a mouse in for example, it does not register it being in there, doesnt do the old ding noise which suggested that they weren't working completely however after plugging an mp3 player or camera into them (something which can be charged from a USB port) the computer doesn't acknowledge them as being connected, however they are still powered up and can be recharged. i have done the old problem solver thing which didn't help, and they all seem to be in order from the software side. pazza Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 If the mouse is the only problem it could just be a faulty mouse My brother had a problem with a USB keyboard, but it was just a duff keyboard Maybe try the mouse on a different computer?
