Just wondering if there's any plans for another skinpack once the full F1 stocks mod is released?

Maybe carry on the Sunday nights racing , hopefully with a full grid and everyone on the correct roof colour.

Im sure this is all in future plans anyway.

Surely there's more peope on the forum who would like to try Rfactor stocks.

Spread the word lads!

We did talk about keeping score from the Sunday night meetingsand running some championships but the majority vote was to wait until there are a couple more tracks released.

The current plan of action at the moment is for me and Danskin to run some official tests with the beta after this years f1 world final, could be a series, could be a string of unrelated meetings, we're not sure yet. It will probably follow ukdirt rules/format, just so we can really evaluate what would need doing if we are to move UKDirtF1s onto this mod next season.

When we do start the testings, then I will compile another skinpack for anybody new (but not to update skins, because there is no point). With regard grades, I don't think its really worth it atm, but obviously graded starts will need to be tested, so we'll probably do something along the lines of the heats being random grids, then the final gridded in 'grades' according to how many points have been scored in the heats. For example, if Scrapman and Hutch top score with 14 points, then they will be the superstars for the meeting final, and so on. Obviously these are just ideas at the moment but I don't really want to be releasing lots of skinpacks with correct grades for a mod which is still only being tested.

The full mod is looking nice and healthy now, is probably quite a way off yet, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. At the moment we have 60 - 70 real life skins on the agenda and 9 finished chassis - with plenty of upgrades to personalize them so there should be a diverse range of cars on track.

Exciting stuff anyway, thanks again to everyone for showing so much enthusiasm

i'll understand if you can't or don't have the time.

As any server log would show I love this mod already and it sounds like it can only get bigger and better

My only concern is with that many chassis people will need a lot of video ram to run it but I am sure you guys have thought that through.

I hope you do decide to run a series instead of un conected meetings, and any help I can offer on that front just let me know :coffee: .

This is Erik again. I think the racing on Sundays should continue, but I think it conflicting with BWS might be putting some people off. There must be some on rFactor Central who would like to race this mod online aswell? I know I'm not much use lol, but I'm willing to help if I can

As for grades, I think it's an okay idea (better get some white paint ), but please don't do a Scottish championship :scared15:

It all sounds very impressive lads. The Beta itself is awesome so the full mod will without doubt blow us all away. I can really appreciated the time and effort gone into a mod this good :appl: It really makes for some great racing, rather than searching through other mods all night. Every Heat is a gauranteed buzz!

The reason I asked about a new skinpack was because I was a complete novice with photshop so rushed to get one done in time. mainly just sticking decals on, so ive started work on another which will be more my own work.

I Can understand it must be a bit of a pain getting them all in and sorting them out which would in turn decrease the chance of us having the full mod for xmas? ;)

Keep up the good work!

I wouldn't mind a new skinpack either tbh, I'd like to use my new shale skin, and get a better tar one done

Erik I thought we had a girl joining the online chaos for a sec there. Jenny092 lol.

Nah this is my sister's account, which she doesn't really use, and mine has become 'locked', so I don't have much choice...

OT: Erik posts on Jenny's account, Murph posts on eriks account which is locked (?), jenny doesn't really post at all.

No chance of anyone actually hitting that log out button and logging back in under their real name?

Kendo posting in kendo's account...or is it?
