Bumpy Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 Hi all, I run the Dutch competition of Formula One Stockcar Racing Since I use the Thomson Speedtouch 780 WL I can't host the game. I have to open ports. The question is: how to open ports, what portnumbers I have to open and most important how to configure. Can anyone help me? Bumpy

Bumpy look here http://portforward.com/english/routers/por...routerindex.htm you'll find thompson acatel = speedtouch these arent exactly right models but the interface should be similar SpeedTouch716WL Speedtouch780v6 pick 1 of the routers from list and on next page should a list of games come up, pic nascar from list and you'll be shown a walk through, this walktrough isn't exactly for nascar heat so may need to adjust slightly to suit, and i think standard port number for - HEAT - is 2001, if you can's get it sorted ring your isp's technical support and they will help you,

zarky191 Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 what program or how did u open ur ports
Bumpy Posted September 26, 2007 Author Report Posted September 26, 2007 (edited) I wrote my standardgateway number in the browser so I logged online in in my modem setups. Then I went to the toolbox and wnet to Game & Application Sharing. I had to add a game (give it a name) and open the ports. Then setup the game that it belongs to your computer.
