Hutch#331 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 what do you mean by you have the 2 versions of f1 ? the pre beta version i would delete the rfactor folder and start with a fresh install that way it would eliminate any problems list your pc spec mate it may help
crewesader Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Posted November 25, 2007 lo All, Have the F1 version from rFactor site and the new update i.e. both versions PC is AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53ghz 256MB of RAM, running WindowsXP 2002 and service pack2. Hutch#331 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 i very much doubt it run any good, your pc's pretty low spec m8 its looking like a new pc's on santa's list i take it your using onboard graphics too
paulp146 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 This is taken from the rFactor web site System Requirements 1.4 GHz processor Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition) 512 MB RAM Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200 128 MB video RAM DirectX 9.0c 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation Internet connection required for one-time activation Maybe you need more ram ,if the 256mb you mention is your system ram that is.

Guest Scrapman53 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Could be your graphics card that's making it crash. What card is in it?
