rsweb Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 did anyone catch cowdie on sky sports? f2 grand national, sssc and hotrods
walker Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 aye I did but and thought it was crap in my opinion
Sparky961 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I watched it, was on from 5-6 on sky sports extra. Was pretty poor IMO. Only 3 races from the featured night and the coverage of them was mostly from a camera that was positioned way too high up to get any real feeling of speed and made the racing look tame and slow. Most of the focus was placed on spending time with jamieson and barry lee in a mk1 escort rod. Very disappointed to say the least. cheers sparky
drumbstick Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Copied from allstox The full programme (part 1) is on… Feb 6th 13:00 Sky Sports 2 Feb 6th 17:00 Sky Sports Extra Feb 6th 20:00 Sky Sports Extra Feb 7th 00:30 Sky Sports 3
sim_902 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Seen it, and Enjoyed it A lot of it was very interesting, had a couple of mates watching it aswell(who dont go to the racing), from what theyve said, they enjoyed it(maby some new stox fans :-) ).... The Bit with Barry Lee/Haird in the hotrods was a nice feature to have, would have fitted nice into the likes of the Hotrod world programme, but hey, cant complain, our sport on TV, its all good!!!
Johno3 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) I didnt think the program was too bad, but if I had one complaint it was the way that the saloons race was filmed. Why did we have to watch half of the race with white top that was winning out in front by a mile. We had two sets of yellows flags and to be fair, it was hard to tell what they were for, let alone actually see what they were for. I never understand why these productions can't speak to people that film them week after week. Edited February 6, 2008 by Johno3
Fourwinds Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 Here is a link to the comments from the person who organised the filming on stoxnet. Stoxnet Forum Link
