Im tryin to connect to xbox live and it just isnt happening. lol I have connected the ethernet cable to the back of the xbox and the laptop and when i go to Test the Xbox live connection, It keeps sayin failed for when it gets to Ip address? Is there something that i have to do on laptop or xbox to find the ip address?? Any help appreciated. Thanks Martin

chris Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 (edited) have xbox on when trying to get the ip Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Network and Internet Connections. Click Network Connections. Right-click the connection that you use to connect to the Internet Click Properties. Click the Advanced tab. Under Internet Connection Sharing, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box. some info aswell here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908885 Edited February 28, 2008 by chris
