Game wont connect to server?

Hi lads i am posting on behalf of a friend. Everytime he goes to connect to a server it says waiting for reply and it doesn't connect? Any ideas? Cheers Sibbs

Does he have anything running like virus, firewall and so on ??

That could prevent his putter from receiving the ping of the server.

He hasn't turned any firewalls on ect. Any other ideas?

Tell him to try and restart his router/modem just before he connects to the server. I had this problem once, and I had to do that for a few weeks, then it started to work again...
