editing cars?

i would like to edit a car but don't know how, i'v got 3ds max and zmodeler, what do i need to do to get it into one of them?

 

i did it once but have completely forgotten

 

any help will be appreciated

Why would you want to edit a car? Plus, you have to have permission's from the modeller.

ok fair enough, i won't edit a car. i just thought i'd play with it a bit.

 

so how would i go about making a new car?

First you never open someone's model ,you dont ask its just not done ,2nd ask for help in what you want to make,someone in free leagues open my morris isis and messed with it and put the wheels off set on the model its a no,no m8
