chevy11 Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 hi all i will be soon gracing rfactor . i was speaking to mor and have a problem .i wanted to save some setups and stuff i clicked on user data and then on my name apparently after that i should have a list of tracks but i have nothing there . as i said before i spoke to mor about this and he didnt know either so he told me to post on here to see if anyone can sort it for me. i already have some setups in some tracks and they dont show up either .but they must be saved somewhere as there in the game
demonstone Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 default save location should be C:/rfactor/userdata/<your name>/settings then u should see all the track name folders, if you look through those folder there should be svm files < setup files if you can't locate you setups within the game, on the garage setup screen look to bottom right side, theres a button that possibly says vehicle on it, press it so it says ALL,
chevy11 Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 thats the problem i click on my name and the settings option isnt there
demonstone Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) ok try this, as you say you've had some setups saved, goto you start menu/search click all files and folders, in the serch options window it says look in with a dropdown tab - scroll to bottom it says browse, change the lookin option to c:/programes/rfactor on the more options tab choose - search sytem folders/hidden files and folders/& sub folders, type in svm in the serch box and hit go, it should find your saved setups and also give you the loacation they are stored in, if you get stuck pm me your addy Edited July 30, 2008 by demonstone
