when i go to rotate or move something in max i usually have a little globe thing to rotate it with and 3 arrows to move it, just recently they have disappeared and when i want to rotate stuff i get a little circular arrow when i move my cursor over the object. im pretty sure some one had a similar problem on the render thread.

 

any one know how to get the 3 arrows back, maybe i press something by mistake.

Tried to get a screen shot when i 1st posted but when i press printscreen it hides my cursor will try "the pressing l" solution.

sorry for double post, tried "the pressing l" solution and it didnt work, just change to the left view port

could just delete 3dsmax.ini

 

when u start max again , it will create a new file
