Gta 4 didn't support Logitech controllers until patch 1 installed them by default, now patch 2 has arrived and switched them off again unless;

"Direct input device support is now disabled by default and can only be enabled with the commandline: "-usedirectinput" "

So how and where on my Vista 32bit system do i do that then?

create a txt doc name it commandline, put the "-usedirectinput" in the file,

then place comandline.txt in the gta4 program folder

if you read the readme file wich is in the gta program folder, theres a list of other commands you can add to increas performance

On the ATI site it says my graphics card can handle dx level 9, yet when i go to laod the game i get this message "DD3D50 Fatal error"

I found this, which is what the error relates to

"D3D Error - DirectX 9 video card required"

Whats going on :wacko:
