Colley Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 (Even if he was a Jock ) thinks thats a bit uncalled for considering he died, not making a big deal of it but its not a nice thing to say at all even if its a joke.

Lee Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Agree with all the above... Possibly the best ever rally driver to have set foot on this planet. Not just for the skills he had, but for his never say die attitude even with a broken car, this video just about sums up his never say die attitude. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bkrcomXmQ6E wouldnt half mind an early escort, but for the moment my eyes are set on a 3 door cossie.
Budge313 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 where is it now budge? any pictures of the car. Did you have to bring that up..... Yes i have a few on disc somewhere, i'll dig them out, When i bought the RS she'd been standing for a few years ready to be converted into a rally car, hence the rally engine, the bloke had got that far.... i bought it and gonna put it on the road, But she was rusty, hence the 2 door 1600 shell in mint condition, But with the split from the missus, i never really done anything on it, then i moved in with the new missus, BUT no where to keep them, So with much regret NOW, i sold them both on to a bloke who did start to re-build the rs, but haven't spoke to him for quite a while now so don't know how it's going, Just to let you know because of i knew him and he was gonna re-build it, i let them go for £450.00 on a car probably worth £5k or more these days, if he does it to showroom, Mega money..... Stupid i think is a good word, and been told by some many people how stupid i was i'd be rich if i had a quid every time someone said it... But all in the past these days, and life moves on..... BUT 1 DAY i'll HAVE 1 i've promised myself
Vixtro Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Awesome looking machine that, un-surprisingly looks similar to my old mans ol 2 litre mk1 Escort stock car before it got all battered. RIP McRae
