Exporting 3ds to Make Mod File

Hi, im using autodesk 3d max 2009, and am trying out making a new car, ive dun the modelling, but am having trouble exporting it

 

I go file export then save as 3ds.

 

Then using 3ds2mod i attempt to convert to to pacecar file

 

However this does not seem to working in-game

 

 

Any ideas?

have you named the parts of your model correctly in 3dmax? and alos once you have the pacecar file, you need winres tools to create a .car file which should work in game whan you put the physics in with it.

 

modeling is only half of the job getting it in game i find much hard.
