Guest iang454 Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Hi Guys and Gals, To all of you with an F2 Licence, may I ask you to write to Carlton with regard to the tyre softener proposal sent in by James Thackra. As you will all know, Carlton has asked us to write to him regarding our own personal thoughts on this proposal. I'm not here to start another discussion about this subject , I'm just trying to remind all of you to write in by the 12th June. There has been much talk and it is obviously high on the list of conversation at the tracks at the moment and the BOC need to know our thoughts. This Formula is National but we never seem to do things as a collective group, i.e. only a handful of us ever turn up for the AGM and when we are asked to vote for the BSCDA Committee Members only a poxy 1/4 of us even bothered to send back the voting slips !! Regardless of whether or not you want softener back, if we all write to Carlton then the BOC will have a clearer view of what the majority want, which is most important. The main trouble here is if only a few write to Carlton, then the BOC will say 'how can they take us (the Drivers) seriously' if we can't even be bothered to express our opinions in the manner requested. If you've signed a petition or spoke to Jiz (324) it does NOT count, you must write to Carlton. A concerned Licence holder
