Lo, im doing a volvo 144 now, its my first moddel ever. Its almost done now, just need to get it in game..

 

But i don't know how! :coffee:

 

I know to save the model as a .mod file, but then im stuck...

- Do i need to save it with damage layers on?

- Do i just have to copy the mod file and rename the files as pacecar1, pacecar2 etc.?

 

Would be great if som1 can explane..

Certainly a great first attempt and it has come out quite well. Although i think a little more shaping would do it the world of good because atm it looks very squre. I know volvo's arn't the roundest of cars but they arn't that square either lol

And i know its a bit square, but im not gonna change that anymore, because i't wont be sematric..

tbh , it would bother me anymore.

u made the mistake u learnt from it.

just get it working ingame.

 

and do your next car better (at least i always try to make a better 1)

Yh ur right hd, i know this 1 isnt the best 1 in the game, but i dont really bother, more reasons to make my second 1 better, ;). i rushed 2 hard for this one, but i learn from my mistakes..;)

but i aint gonna finish it, cant get it in game, and as haadee says, it has 2 much polys and is 2 much work to get it right.

try making a volvo 240 saloon or a remake of a oztin metro

How about a 71 Buick Rivera or a Buick Roadmaster or even a Ford Town and Country Squire Estate, now there's some yank tin to think of.
