Johno3 Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 (edited) Thanks very muc to Spike for running the meeting and to Kev for stewarding, as it would have been hard for me to steward with it being a clutch start. Anyway, for me it was a good night. I only made a good start in 1 race, which I won, but apart from that, I didnt, but I fought back well to pick up some good results, and thus good points. Surprised the turnout was so low, but expect it to be higher next week with the new grade changes, coupled with it being tarmac, add to that world qualifying points. If that aint enough for you, it is also a National Series Round. Speaking of the National Series, things are hotting up really nicely in the race to be in the top 6. I think it is still possible for the top ten to still get in, but it would be great to see someone from lower down put them all under pressure. We also have a new leader, as with Tom D not racing, Kruiz put in some good results to take the lead. Unfortunately for him, it is not a big lead at this stage as many people are close to him. The next 2 weeks sees 2 more rounds of the series, and with that meaning we would be over the half way mark, we really would have a good idea who are the main contenders for getting into the race for the silver roof!! Initial points taken from Kev's site, with tonights points added on. Edited May 7, 2009 by Johno3

TRAV365 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Well i enjoyed last night and think the new less grip track is a big improvment. After the last meeting at sheffield i had 4 dnfs but last night i managed to score points in every race and got my first win on shale in the gn.
