Hiya Lads and Lasses, Firstly I will apologise for the meeting not starting on time as there were people whom left the server while we were waiting for some people, also sorry for the points not being done till today.

Well thats out the way onto the meeting, Leech 774 took the opening win from a fast closing Robin H87 and Nezza 46 taking the 3rd place spot, onto HT2 and Ianstep 516 opened his account for 2010 with a well deserved win from Fordy 688 in second and Tom 112 claiming the 3rd spot, HT3 Robin H87 was to go one better than his previous race and took the win which ended upto be the only S/S victory of the night with Tosh 164 claiming the 2nd spot and Fordy 688 claiming 3rd could off been any of the top 3 that won but Robin H87 came out on top. Onto the Final the field spread out early on and Fordy 688 managed to go worm his way though the incidents and go one better than he did in HT2 and took the win Robin H87 claimed 2nd place and Nezza 46 came home with a well deserved top 3 4th went to Drumbstick 41 and 5th to Tom 112 with less than the width of a wheel seperating them. Finally onto the Grand National Aub 881 took the spoils home in this race and Mav 641 gaining a well deserved 2nd and Spike 221 claiming 3rd place which is cracking results for these three.

After joining practice at 7:30, to find my setup from a previous meeting was over 1.5 seconds slower than the top guys was a bit disheartening!!! It handled like a bag of bolts and often ended with it being in bits after spinning or being hit. I had no idea what to change, so I loaded another setting from a different track, went out and voila - less than half a second down on the top guys AND I could handle it better. The more I practiced the more confident I got, and only thing that I was not sure on was racing in traffic.

Lined up for first heat and set off well, but clipped Lars550 and spun into tyres, tried to reverse out slowly but still clipped Nezza. Got back into the race 12th but finished 8th - Chuffed to bits. Second heat, was racing for the lead with Spike Jnr, finally getting by to lead until IanStep caught me, started to go backwards and showed too much ass to Tosh who couldnt resist but to touch it :o round I went, but I managed to get going in 7th but finished 8th again. Still Chuffed.

Final I was looking forward too, opening laps and I couldn't catch Budge for the lead, but after a few more laps Budge crashed out and I lead, but then disaster, I was out of the running, and I couldn't get back into it and finished 14th I think. Sorry to Pedz whom I pushed into a tyre, which I didn't mean but it certainly looked like I did. Sorry m8.

GN, started from the front with Budge, and had great opening laps which included me passing Budge around the outside  My lead didn't last long as Aub caught and passed me, but by now I was really on it and determined to stay up there. Nezza caught me and passed me, but my eagerness to get passed him without taking myself out, saw me catch Nezza's back wheel and spin him Sorry Nezza, not what I wanted to do - however I was 2nd again and shortly after Aub had slowed and I passed him around his outside. Again it was short-lived as Aub powered past and onto the flag and I held off Spike to take a jubilent 2nd place - What a Buzz!!!

So all in all a very good night for me :2:

Enjoyed last night, I Was compaired to some off the pace, but enjoying clicking bits in the set up, but messed it up for GN, noticed that when Mav went round outside, Something some would worry about lol but not in 2's, The final was going great, lap 11 and looked in mirrors when going into turn 1 and see everyone coming outta turn 4.... see a few car in a heap got though them to see TOSH in the steel plate with wheels bouncing across the track, No time to brake and miss him, see a gap on the outside (unlike heat) where you'd stick ya foot down and blast through....... NOT IN R FACTOR..... RACE END.... And yes like nezza these do break to easy, would be nice to up the damage a bit, Maybe not what i did in final... that should break.....(lesson learned) but not when you clip a tyre or just catch someone wrongly,

Thanks to the RM and the stewards, was a great run meeting and all over in no time :appl: :appl:
