Chewy102 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Quick MIRC Setup We recommend setting mirc up as below, but there's an quick alternative if you need it here: http://www.mibbit.com/chat/?server=irc.cha...nel=%23sim-stox - type in your race name and number on 1st page only. on next page just wait for it to log in automatically. it hasnt got as many features, no sound, and you have to keep an eye out for PM,s but it does the rest ok. ____________________________________________________________________ More Detailed MIRC Setup The Connection Settings for Mirc are as follows: Server Description: #Sim-Stox IRC Server: irc.chat4all.org Port: 6667 Group: Blank Password: Blank To join the chat room type /join #Sim-Stox Step by step guide. 1. Download Mirc and install. 2. After installation, Start Mirc. 3. Select Tools/Options. 4. Enter user details, making sure to include your Race Number as part of your nickname. 5. Select Servers then Click Add. 6. Enter the server details and click add. 7. Click Ok to return to the main window. 8. Click the connect button to join the server, when connected type /join #Sim-Stox and press return. 9. When Mirc has finished connecting the Sim-Stox Chat Window will appear.
