DanSkin
Thanks for the meeting Kev. I enjoyed bits of it, but got pretty bored of people wall-riding as they drove away from, or caught me up. Said I should of went to bed after heat one - should of listened to myself. That said, well done LeeK for the final, and Tom on the Tarmac Masters. The racing on the whole looks decent in the replays, certainly action packed and plenty of bumpers going in. The TnT races were crazy!
Johno3
First of all, thanks to Kev for running the meeting. Well done to LeeK for taking the final victory and to TomD for top scoring. I would also like to apologise for leaving early. It is not like me, but a combination of the worst week of my life career wise, being on a track I hate so much, and then feeling hard by in the races meant that by the time I was spun out in the Grand National, I had just had enough. So apologies for leaving early guys and taking another car off the track. At the time, I thought the racing was bad, with lots of wall riding. It was there, but no where near as bad as I thought it was. But I am ashamed that I started to think that I could stoop to that level when fired in to gain a few places. Onto the shootout, and last years Shootout turned on 1 meeting (round 3 at Knockhill). This year's round 3 sees Tom have another good meeting and perhaps take a small element of control into the final rounds. With Dazza stating that he is now out of the running due to other commitments (which is a real shame), it looks likethere is only Mike to take up the running. Personally, I really fancied a crack at the Shootout, but I knew I had to be somewhere near by the time I Buxton and Scunthorpe were out of the way (my two worst tracks). Unfortunately, I am no where near, and not putting in the practise that you need (due to school commitments) coupled with the fact I am no where as consistent as the top drivers sees me out of the race. 60 points is a little too much to carry. So it looks like I need a new target: try not to finish last in the shootout See you all next week where I would hope the attendance is greatly imrpoved. We start on that road to gold again where this year we are looking to dethrone TomD! So get yourself booked in for those all important World Championship Qualifying Points. You make think it is only a few rounds, but it helps bump you up the chart. It did wonders for DanSkin above (but I wont bring in the semi final....). Cheers Johno
