At the time of writing, a credible 23 cars are already booked into race, even with a few WF qualifiers missing - here's how the bookings are looking in terms of the world final grid itself:RED = Not yet booked in ROW 1 : 8 - 315 ROW 2 : 137 - 1 ROW 3 : 151 - 115 ROW 4 : 236 - 39 ROW 5 : 90 - 221 ROW 6 : 380 - 41 ROW 7 : 391 - 262 ROW 8 : 290 - 527 ROW 9 : 300 - 365 ROW 10 : 525 - 560 I'm sure you'll agree the grid looks very interesting this year, and should lead to a fantastic race. Will we see our online race follow it's real life counterpart, with a seasoned competitor taking their first gold roof, will we see previous world champions DanSkin or Dazza reclaim their old title or will defending champion Tom D continue his dominant form and take the spoils for a second year in a row. Get yourselves booked in for the biggest event on the UKDirt F1 calender. A full preview from Johno will follow soon. Mav
Why are Admin allowing drivers who didn't attend their Semi to race the Consi Semi?? Surely 10 drivers for 4 places is enough of a race?? Lee Robinson or Mick Sworder were not allowed to race in real life.
drumbstick
I would think because as of now there are only 4 of those 10 booked in. Its also been like that for the past couple of years, why would admin change it?
wee dode
I agree with drumb, its been like that for years as when I missed my semi because of my 3month all mod ban and a few of us started half a lap down and to catch the cars in front was hard enough! Johno3
I can confirm that the reason we have done this is for the reasons outlined above. Whilst there are 10 qualifiers that would normally be elligible, in our experience not all 10 drivers turn up. Don't forget that there is also a chance that not all of the World Finalists will turn up as well. So with this is mind, we hav gone down the lines of which we have done for the past 3 years and given everyone chance to take part so that the Consolation Semi Final remains a race and we have enough drivers to give us a full grid of 24 for the World Final.
