Knobby Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Hi!! Any one recommend a decent laptop that can run heat, MAYBE Rfactor too.... I've no idea what I'm looking at.... Don't have to be the cheapest! just one that will comfortably run it. Scott!
bobbert325 Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Now this looks promising......i have an old laptop doing sod all that can run heat but not rfactor if ya wanna try it m8 you are more than welcom but if you do i want your settings Seriously m8 it would be awesome if you did come and join us for some good old fashioned racing again. One of the few chaps that can do it proper imo
Knobby Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 Its for offline mate so I can crash into people and not have a forum of cry babies to read about after! lol!
headbanger193 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 C'mon Scott come back, it was fun racing against you. Still remember the follow-in you did on me at Wimbo fig 8 world final the other year and got back to chat and you asked if i was ok after that hit Lol. Just do the odd meeting fella, would be good to see ya back out on track.
Knobby Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 Well I need some laptop advice first! lol
bobbert325 Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 lmao.....i thought you left due to being a cry baby m8? couldn't stand the thought of people like me winning titles etc lol
Ryano Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 I would have thought most new laptops could run Heat and probably rFactor without a problem. rFactor running requirements (probably minimum): System requirements 1.4 GHz processor CPU 512 MB RAM 128 MB video RAM Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200 DirectX 9.0c 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation Internet connection required for one-time activation so something that out does those requirements really!
Knobby Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 Cheer Ryan, most lappys i've looked at seem to be well over spec'd for Rfactor! Knobtech > Bobbertprep
