Bonsey324 Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 hi all, wondering if anyone knows what wrong with it, just got a new comp and re-installed everything and was working fine untilll i went online and it kicked me off, then i went offline and it said "rfactor has stopped working" and i try different cars and tracks and it always loads up skegness and turns off, then i deleted skegness and it just doesnt work full stop, so i re done it all...again and its doing the same thing, any ideas ? cheers, bowman324
bristolstokie Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 I had a similar problem with the game loading a particular track but it was because I was trying to be clever and using my old userdata folder when I reinstalled rfactor. I think I deleted the lines in the PLR file that tell the game which track and mod to load and it worked. If you are going to try this then back up the file first in case it causes more problems. This might help if you did not delete all of your rfactor files before trying to reinstall it. If it was a fresh install then I am not sure what the problem might be.
