Hello All,

MEETING PREVIEW:

CHRISTMAS CRACKER OPEN 2012

Its christmas and we are certainly celebrating it in fine style with the first ever staging of the Christmas Cracker Open Event 2012 which is open to absolutely anybody wishing to take part and bookings have hit the roof! 63 Cars are currently entered to pack out the pits and hit the Coventry Stadium Shaleway to take part in some fine Brisca F1 Stockcar racing on the 27th December, With bookings this high, We are pretty certain this meeting is going to be a fantastic one!

63 Cars and a huge range of talent floods the bookings list with lots of big names and champions from across all leagues are all entered for this meeting to make it even more competitive than any other meeting during the 2012 season! Sim-Stox champion of the world, Jack Morgan 1 is entered for this meeting using the coveted gold roof and number 1 car. National Points Champion 98 Ian Bailey at sim-stox is also on the entry list adding to the competition. We also have multi champion Tom Drabble 112 who looks to be a favourite for this event, He is the current Sim-Stox British Champion in which he won this exact title at this venue during the season and also UKDirt National Shootout Champion and World of Shale champion which he took at Kings Lynn, Sure seems to prefer the shale surface does 112 and looks to be one to beat on Thursday 27th. Ex UKDirt Champion of the World H315 Mike is also set to appear as is Murf 561 who also looks to be a favourite preferring the shale surface as the Sim-Stox world of shale champion. Josh Hampson as H24 and Gary Bailey as 318 are also on the entry list.

Leading the red grade off for this meeting is H291 Marten who is current UKDirt European Champion he will have some strong competition though as real life star 90 Liam Brown is also on the booking list as a red grader and Richard Skeels 24 who has not been in an F1 for a short while and looking forward to getting back in the driving seat. Kane 238, Pedz 212, Ben 800, H184 Chevykiller, Liam 380, Ryan 653 and Sam 246 are all booked in ready to do battle from the red grade aswell.

A strong list of blue graders are also entered for this meeting adding to the mix. We have D6 JoJo, The current Sim-Stox European Champion which we took at Northampton in July in a very hard fought race. CB 167, The world long track champion of 2012 at Sim-Stox looks to make a shale appearance and will be good to have on track. Making a comeback after many months away is Mr Beef 85, One driver with years of experience behind him in the F1 Stockcars and will be good to see him back out on track again for the Christmas Cracker. Harmen H262 the UK Open champion at UKDirt also appears as a blue grader for this meeting after seeing a recent drop in grades towards the end of the season. Jeyder 61 is also booked and one to watch at blue grade, 233 Grasser is another strong contender, Craig 12 enjoyed the previous Coventry events with some great results at the last meetings at this venue, 87 Sam Brigg, Fastrack 527, Jake 305 back out on track after recent car issues which made him miss the end of the season, Matty300, TinmanH48 a man always on the pace and Tom 515 also adds to the blue graders.

Looking at the yellow grade and still huge sums of quality entries make the yellow grade even more competitive. Sim-Stox Scottish Champion Samson in 47 heads the yellow graders and set to make the long trip from north of the border. As is 502 Plebber, The current Whites and Yellows champion is set to join the convoy down. Mav in 525, A man with lots of experience behind him aswell is set to race for a Christmas session. Man to beat at the yellow grade towards the end of the season seemed to be Neke H217 and it will be interesting to see how he gets on at this event. Tsjalle H29, Ryan 48, New Zealand entrant Ayrton in NZ17 is also set to appear, Sije H129, Stokie 391, Steve 3, Josh 284, Leighton 40, Spike 221, Evnos 338, AliP 65 and Phil 460 all add to the strong list of yellows.

Taking a look at the front of the grid and the talent certainly does not stop there! The potato man himself has made a recent booking and looking forward to an F1 meeting, Of course that can only be NI747 JayJay McConaghie and its superb to see him on the entry list. Stoxkart young gun champion Higgins in 229 is also booked to make an F1 debut from the front of the pack. Some say he is the fairest driver around, Steppy 16 is back on track once again and looking for more of those race wins! Jamie 180 is a contender constantly growing in strength in the brisca big league. We also have the likes of Crewsader 491, Jake 557, Aza 517, Ryan 79, Ricky 237, MavJNR 285, Mika NZ236 and Dayne NZ 23 as extra New Zealand entrants, Madmatt 450, Real life spedeworth start Tyler 330, Bigal515 and Ant 422 to add to the white top group.

A staggering 63 cars means fully booked for this event but a Reserve list is well underway and the first and only man on the list at the time of writing is ex Brisca F1 Driver 64 Kev Smith, Making his return to a Brisca F1 which could be a very interesting addition to this Christmas Cracker.

Just a few days to go now until the 27th and this meeting can come to life! Remember it is an 8:00pm start and the Practice Server will be open throughout the next few days. We do have 2 servers for this meeting which will help proceedings but each driver will get a good amount of races at least competing in 5 races during the night. It certainly is going to be a meeting to remember. See you all on the 27th for a start time of 8:00pm, But of course, Hope to see you all a bit earlier getting a few of those practice laps in!

Have a great Christmas!

Jack
