Well chuffed with how I did again. Nice 2nd in first heat but couldn't catch dan117,then heat 2 ended up winning it from 3rd even thou I let dan236 go,which he did a last bend on dan117 & raced dan236 to the line to win. Got spun in my third heat by liam380 cause it looked like I was going to spin myself but had it under control, which I tend to drift round the bends & came back to get 10th. Im well chuffed after getting 4th in final at Buxton, then 2nite in uk open race started third row inside & i gained 2 places on last bend from 8th to 6th.same happened in grand national like wat liam380 did but this this time it was dan117 while i was in 4th not many laps to go cause it looked like I was going to spin myself but had it under control, which I tend to drift round the bends.Oh well I'm very happy with my points & how well I've been doing lately,so I'm hoping i can keep it up :)

Cheers for meeting admin :)

Wd Dan117 u will be soon back up the grades & very well done to danskin on winning the uk open final :)

Enjoyed the meeting. My setup was a little loose on corner exit compared to most other cars so that hampered me a little bit but I got a 5th in one of the heats and I think at one point as far up as 7th in the UK so that will do for me

Thanks for the meeting Ben, very smoothly ran as per usual. Well Done Dan on winning the UK Open, seemed all over after the 1st lap from what I saw.

Cant say I was enjoying Skegness in practice but found some consistency even if it wasn't massively quick so settled for that and after poor efforts in the Heats didn't expect much from Row 6 of the Final. Got the lucky early one avoiding the enevitable carnage on lap 1 and had a good battle with Barker and CB, managed to survive and try to catch CB but 'The Master' machine wasn't there to be caught.

Well done Danskin236 for his flag to flag victory, after 2 laps the race was for 2nd place.Total and utter dominance from who i believe to be the greatest all round driver to have graced UKDirt. I am maybe not the best to judge,i was there at the start of UKDirt missed about 5 years then came back raced a bit then retired upstairs to my current position. There has been some superfast drivers but none have the longevity and have raced all the mods.

The final i must say well done to all the lapped drivers for respecting the leaders and getting out of the way of the drivers battling for positions. This is not always respected but this time it seemed to be much better, thanks for that.

Recently there has been some good results for lower grade drivers, some seem to be racing smarter and not following each other in at every bend which is helping their results.

Thanks for the kind words.

Was steady away in the heats, a bit of luck at the start of the final to immediately get clear... and then just had to bring it home safely from there. As I said in the server from a personal point of view (and to echo Stumpy's words above), thanks the lap cars who were particularly courteous/conscientious. :king:

Thanks Ben for the meeting.

I am happy with how I did as I have struggled in the tooz hence the white grade

To be on the front row in the Final was way more than I expected but I was there an I had to try an make the most of it.

I didn't an Skinner was gone an so was I in the 1st corner. I was moved wide an the big train came through by the time I got back up to pace I was 13th but nowt new for me back there lol.

I will hold my hand's up an say sorry to Jack in the final as I was a little to eager to get to the line. I run with the name tags on an at times it fails to show some cars for some reason.

As to the back marker thing Racing is racing 1st v 2nd yes even 7th/8th but 1st v 11th 12th 13th isn't it just means you are being passed cos you are slow or you had a pile up but either way in my little world you should just slip a little wide.

When I'm in that position if im being lapped by a white top or red it is still the same just slip a little wide slip back in an follow a lot can be learnt line wise.

Back to the point I let you Go Go Go Dan so you could have a WIN as I took most of em lol
