Badura_Racing258 Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Looking good mate, not bad for a first try....don't worry about 3D Max, there's plenty tutorials and help at hand...Chops,Mark,Mor,Mickeymoo etc etc...they've got some great scenes put up, if you want to go find them On the car...it's looking good. Get in touch with Pete Bauld for the 'Bauld Autobreakers' and see what font, and gradient he uses for his skins, and that'll make that look much better. The number on the front is massive Get that smaller Perhaps a 'screw' to the number, or/and a shadow of somesort would be good? Nice and basic though, but if you wanna go 'fancy' try and get more colour into your signwriting (blending, etc etc..) or see if you can find any 'textures' such as bubbles, or something of the sort? Just a few tips mate
Badura_Racing258 Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 (edited) Just seen your other post...i'm sure Kingy done his car for the game not so long ago, and it was looking good. I'm sure someone will post up the .tex for you or you could head over to Andymeks website, or Roskos (cant find the addy!!) and see if they (which they should) have pics of the car I'll look for the address!! http://www.lindsaywilson246.cjb.net/ http://www.scotstox.cjb.net/ http://community.webshots.com/user/roskomurdoch EDIT: There's the 3 websites that i'm sure will give you what you need, some old and some new...but nevertheless...pictures of Lindsay Wilson! The more youdo, the easier it becomes, and the better you'll get! You using Photoshop, or Paint Shop? Edited January 11, 2006 by David
