  1. Hi The ftooz are having some tweaks in the off season. This will not be a complete overhaul, however you will be surprised at how different the tarmac cars feel with just a few small tweaks. The shale physics will not be changing, however both cars will be having the damage tweaked to lower the number of punctures and wheels flying through the air. Anyone is eligible to apply to help out, we are looking for about 15 drivers taken from all grades, the provisional dates we are looking at are Monday the 6th, 13th, and 20th of December(Starting about 8:30) and we would expect people to commit to at least two but preferably all three of these dates. To apply you must be a member of the UKSOM forum www.amaspero.co.uk/forum and the application forms can be found HERE. Applications will close on the 29th of November. Once you have completed the application please either add it as a reply to the thread or PM it to either drumbstick or Hooty on the UKSOM forum.
  2. Some of the racing last night was the best I have experienced in 2010, a number of drivers on the pace and not afraid to mix it. Have to mention the semi final where Nezza myself and Robin swapped places every bend for about 10 laps top stuff Shame there is still the mindless small minority who think driving in to everything flat out is still acceptable
  3. Haven´t you got 37 World Cup Points Lars ? Sim-Stox have said drivers can represent UKDirt even if they have WC points.
  4. WD Aub After what was probably the worst ever F2 meeting for me last week I seemed to be inthe right place most of the time this week. Had some good battles all night most notably with Dode Ali and Robin
  5. Well except for 1 or two incidents on Sunday that was the best couple of nights F2 racing for quite some time. Sunday I got the luck, and last night I didn't but still finished both meetings with a smile
  6. Barney #1
  7. Well done mate
  8. WD Spike, drove well all night, seem to be getting better week by week at the moment. Felt like I had one of those nights where every time I started to get going, I ended up in an incident still always enjoy BV its a unique challenge
  9. You can race in a novice skin mate
  10. WD Gary be good to see you put the time in at other tracks see how quick you really could be, and well done Dode on winning the track champs. Strange track cowdie its more like threading the needle than racing, and if one driver makes a mistake it can wipe halt the field out. I know we discovered a couple of problems in the track, Dave ended up on the infield in one race and somebody else got stuck on the kerbs in another. Maybe someone who was having problems with the track being dark can supply a screen shot so we can feed the info back to cowie so it can be fixed in any future update he may do(I don't know either way if he ever plans to touch the track again)
  11. No probs guys, as I said Cowdie is so different to everywhere set-ups are not really transferable.
  12. Just add a drop shadow in the colour you require
  13. What program are you using?
  14. Hi mate It depends on what font's you used on the other skin, I would suggest you use the same font you did for the original scheme just in black and white.
  15. Attached here is the set-up I have for cowdie. This is a very unique track so the set-up is completely different to most places! Of course I could be making that up though 2010_Cowdie_race_F2.zip
  16. Just some clarification first, although I am sure Dave will the grade gaps. In the final the last restart was my fault as I pressed the wrong button, half the field went and half didn't so we had to restart it. lesson learnt no more quick keys typing all the way. However people need to make sure they have chat in car switched on and the units in MPH not KPH and roll when told to not 10 seconds latter. Peppi, try installing rFactor in a new location and just installing the Ftooz and the packs in order see if that works On to the meeting, I really enjoyed the races especially after heat 1 when the gaps where bigger. Very little chance of catching some quick lower graders, but the racing was better and the reds and superstars really had to settle down and work together Had a good couple of races with Nezza in the final and gn.
  17. WD Dazza, good drive in the final. I was well happy with 3rd in the British starting from 15th, but I am the first to admit I am really struggling with contact in these at the moment after such a long lay off. I almost took myself out more times than anything tonight messing it up. Apologies especially to Tosh and Dan who I got big at the start of one race
  18. add me on MSN drumbstick@msn.com
  19. Great nights racing, where I was it was good hard fair hits all night WD Robin good drive
  20. I thought this was only the third outing this year, I was not aloud out last time bad behaviour
  21. Cheers lads, and for all the messages I got in MIRC, on Face book and on MSN(Sorry if I didn’t reply on MSN I keep leaving it logged in at work). I thought it had gone early on when we were having a great battle for second that was allowing Tom to drive away, that became a battle for third when Aub also escaped. But around half way Both had there issues in traffic and I was catching Tom before he had an incident with another back marker that put me right on his tail. Decided to go for it straight away(Hesitation cost me last year) and I managed to get enough gap that he just missed the return hit. Thanks to all the lap cars, I don’t think anyone made my life difficult, and to say I am well chuffed would be an understatement!!! And yes Skeet if you find me still able to stand at the weekend, no doubt I might be in an affable mood
  22. List updated to here
  23. Yea apologies for the botched starts last night, to cut a long story short I recently replaced the wheel on my G25 with a MOMO wheel and it turns out I am alergic to something used in the construction so I am having to wear gloves when racing and I found out last night I need to space out my shortcut keys because with my gloves on I press more than one key at once
  24. Each race I was in last night was a cracker, with big but fair hits up and down the field. Lets hope it continues tonight
