If you are using the ip as on the website leave out the :0 on the end .

I have been trying to get some practice online but all i keep getting when i try to is.Resolving hostname the it goes hostname not found. I,m running xp followed what it tells you on the website but no joy can anyone help please.

Have tried the best I can but still nothing but haven't a list of allowed programs either. My security system is AVG and to be honesst I'm not understanding any of it. Any help would be great. Cheers jefftec

 

hmmmm ok, avg doesnt use an exclusion list, i should've said firewall really.....what firewall do you use, is it just the standard one in xp?
