  1. Hi Paul Go to your rFactor folder and open up the bradford tar file in Gamedata/Locations/Bradford. Double click the bradfordtar.gdb file to open it in notepad or a similar program. About 15 lines down there is a line that says RollingStartLoc = 1 Delete that line then close notepad clicking yes to saving changes made to the file. If you now run rFactor Bradford tar should have a normal rolling lap. I had the same problem and it took a little trial and error to sort it. Puzzling why everyone hasn't had this problem but that's computers for you !!! Cheers Daz
  2. Cheers guys - looks the dogs danglies Cheers Darren
  3. Thank you MoR for the update, glad to here things are nearly there. Seems I'll have to try and do this for a little longer instead of this . Hope everyone has a great New Year Darren
  4. I'm sure I will be told to wait, and that it will be ready when its ready , but I'm sat here on New Years Eve like "billy no mates" just hoping and praying that the full mod would be released and break my boredom. The last week I've been logging on almost every 20 mins hoping to see a new topic appear "F1 Stock Cars V1.0 -Released", but alas no. I've never been very good at patience. Could the guys involved give us an update, if not a release date perhaps just a couple of lines explaining that they're working on x or waiting for y. I realise I should be patient, and no I wouldn't have a clue about doing a mod myself but I'm just an F1 mad fan who would dearly love to play this mod Cheers Darren
  5. Have to agree with Kruiz here. I have only played offline so far and the contact is the only thing less than brilliant. On Ipswich tarmac you can do a full speed dive into an ai car and it doesn't move an inch - give it a small push on the inside rear corner at just the right point on a bend and you can move it slightly wide, but is really tricky.(Maybe too lifelike !!!). I think what Kruiz is referring to when he mentions the car "warping" is sometimes you half spin a car and it starts jumping about madly - almost walking across the track , tipping onto its inside wheels then outside wheels etc. Hopefully this will be looked into some point in the future but otherwise what we have already is an excellent start. Cheers Darren PS Kruiz Don't think a graphics card update would cure your problems as it seems to be a physics problem to me
  6. Many many thanks Dragon. Top quality car - top quality skin Cheers Darren
  7. Many thanks for a great skin Was wondering if the upcoming rFactor mod might mean nobody doing any more real life skins for us offline racers, but this is excellent. Now if we could just get MOR137 and Dragon to release the real life skins for the excellent new models they released this year it would be brilliant! Hint hint Darren
  8. Got to be worth a go mate. Can't think it will do any harm but to be on the safe side copy the common res file from the run folder to another location (eg My Documents) so that if you do have a problem you can copy it back. Good luck Cheers Darren
  9. Sorry you can't get it to work mate. Don't blame you for not reinstalling Heat or Windows after the trouble you have had in the past! Hopefully someone else might read this thread and have an idea. If not check the forums at Blackhole Motorsports or Texas Speed Racing for any info, they have helped me in the past. If I have any brainwaves in the near future I'll get back to you. Cheers Darren
  10. Have you added a common.res file to every mod folder in your Nascar Heat folder? Just checked on another forum which says if a common res file is missing from any folder it may cause a problem. Have you re installed schedule editor and made sure it looks to the right location (C/Program Files/Hasbro Interactive/Nascar Heat/Run)? Failing that it might need a reinstall of Nascar Heat or even Windows!!! Have put a copy of my BH2005 common res file in the File Manager which is roughly based on 2006 season (bearing in mind you are limited to 48 events and I wanted to add Mildenhall and Swaffham) Put this in your BH2005 folder, start a new championship and see what happens. Cheers Darren
  11. Strange one this, is Nascar Heat installed in the default location - C/Program Files/Hasbro Interactive/Nascar Heat? If not Schedule Editor may not know where to look for mods. If you change the Winston Cup dates, and then play a Nascar championship do the events change accordingly? Failing that I'll upload my copy of schedule editor to the file manager in case you have got a damaged copy. Cheers Darren
  12. Hi Kruiz When you click on Load Mod in schedule editor you should get a window open up with Winston Cup in the bar. Left click on the downward arrow next to the Winston Cup text and you should have a list of all the mods in your Nascar Heat folder.Highlight the mod you want to change and then click on the Load Mod button. The list of championship dates will then appear in the main schedule editor program. Go through each date either changing the details or deleting it completely until you are happy. Make sure that for any UK tracks you select Day instead of Night as failure to do so can replace the normal sky texture with a bright red one! Also bear in mind that the program works in American time so the date has to be entered MM/DD/YYYY Once finished click on Apply Events, exit Schedule Editor, start up the Heat mod, click on Championship and create a new Championship. Hopefully this helps Cheers Darren
  13. Great skins, really looking forward to downloading them. After a request from my nephew I have been working on this skin for the last couple of weeks. It's not the best paintjob ever and my skills are sadly lacking but if you want to add it to the skinpack then let me know.
  14. Dazza

    my old skin

Always happy to help someone who has got out on track to entertain us. Will try and upload the skin to the Files section (will be my first time so hope it works!!!) Cheers Daz forum.kev149.com/index.php?download=784
