when iw as doing online racing on the ps2 i was going for the g25 steering wheel but never got around to it as i got interested in this game....

i had loads of fun racin metros yesterday. even though 1st heat i dident c the green flag but owell thats racin. then went out in 2nd heat 272 shaun ross picked me up so i held him waitin for someone to waste him but they was too late, then lap later stu foster 265 was spun so i hit him as fast as my metro was goin considering it was missing like a gooden after i hit him the starter jumped. then nxt race a few laps in 104 matt horwell was spun so i hit him and spun round aswell so stu foster 265 gt me bk with a hit on the back wheel which ripped it off but i carried on with 3 wheels on me wagon. then it was time for the dd on the track for dd was me pikey spooner number 6 shaun ross jonessy no show and horwell. so off we went i went for ross but he moved out the way so i seen horwell wavin so i jacked him as fast asv i could then jonesy dne me then he gt dne n so on. pikey n number 6 had a hard head on so pikey waved ppl in jonesy obliged n dne him a couple of times n it was dwn to jonesy n horwell . jonesy went on to win the dd. but a big thank you goes out to steve bailey 190 crew as they helped me out big..

DDR2 RAM 533MHZ 1GB (times 2)

intel pentium dual core 2 p4 2x 1800mhz 800fsb etc. but will be overclocked to over the top spec of processor available and still maintain reliability....

Gigabyte Ga-965p DS3 PCIX SL onboard overclock

Geforce 8600gt... or get a 8800gtx or normal from someone i know....

a 160gb hard drive... but if we find it to slow he said he will fit an extra 2 so it will shoot the commands through them all instead of sending them backwards and forwards....

by the way i know barely anything about computers but this is what it says on the rough spec sheet he gave me

dont know what you mean but im only putting the bits in that im relating to in what im posting though

i'd get a higher spec graphics card 7500's are pretty pants, 7900gt's or gtx's are pretty cheap on the likes of ebay now depends how much cash your going to spend ?

well my dad said we could pay around £110 for one...... and on ebay the 8600 or wotever it is was working out around £55.....

also will the graphics card capability be limited by my processor speed etc. ????

also will it be better off buying a custom made computer and how much would that cost for a spec good enough for rfactor too run on high detail or the best of everything detail wise...

ok thanks for that it seems u have the better processor than me..... is there a way you can upgrade the FSB and cache on computers as isnt that the bit that determines the speed etc. with the clocks.....

i am buying a new computer due to the laptop i am using being used by my dad for work....

it will come with windows vista premium and was wondering if rfactor will install on it and is there a way of getting the nascar heat mods to work on vista ????

the spec below is what it will come with but i will be upgrading the graphics card....

processor type = intel core 2 duo e4300

clock speed = 1.8ghz

fron side BUS = 800mhz

cache = 2mb

ram memory = 1024mb may upgrade it to 1500mb

hard disk = 250gb

graphics card... nvidia geforce 7500LE

is that good enough for rfactor ????

done mine and said it all (well most of it) in capital letters to let them know that they are ruining peoples lifes doing this..... also i said it in capital letters to get it into the thick politicians heads

i will be really sorry to see this track go... if it does.....

is there a certain amount of people that need to object before a certain time like most petitions...???

i believe there will be a few clash of the titans in this one but as jimmy says sworder should be able to win this or at least get a top 3 finish if he keeps out of trouble and doesnt get over ambitious and make some silly mistakes people make when under the pressure......

smart money on sworder but for the gamble i have to go for moodie seeing as where he is starting with so many top notch drivers may prove a more even playing field....

thats just my opinion lets see what happens when it comes
