Brazil works for me on max 7. It is designed for max 8 though. So I am not too sure what you mean by brazil plugin not being for max 8. Max 7 or 8 is the best as they are up to date versions but to put cars into Nascar heat you will need version 3. cheers sparky

You've done no more and no less than me Travel. I am constantly trying to finish models, maybe attempt at some eye candy renders which make previewing cars alot more realistic etc, you can never please everyone but I suppose you will still think that you are the MAN and everyone should bow down to you. Absolutely nothing kendo, oh yes, Give modelling a go yourself. Contribute in that way. Come back in about 10 years when you have figured it out. As far as I can see, I have been trying, I have been so far getting somewhere with my modelling and have an almost complete car in game, but I think maybe if the modeller decides what is released and what is not then release the chassis and keep the template to myself? Oh well, better batter on with the bunter or else you guys will be stuck with those EliteEvo's and aRCE's. cheers sparky

They have been made public, by releasing them to the community he has basically allowed us to use his models, this is like making a chassis and keeping the template to yourself so you can be the only one to use it. The tools are out there Erik to get the 3ds files, I would tell you how to get them but I can't be bothered being banned again. Look around, I'm sure you'll find the files, oh and hmmmm, nobody says anything about H33 rendering Dragon's models Consistency consistency. As I say, if you want to be the only one to render you're models, get good at them, simple. White floor not even with brazil sometimes just isn't enough, use you're imagination, create objects, make it look like a track etc, the result is alot more aesthetically pleasing than just a plain white floor. cheers sparky

If he isn't happy then he must have some proper reason, other from being a rather arrogant eedjit he muct be jealous that people will stop coming to him for renders of his cars and go to other people which he won't like. You don't need to get them off him. Just render them anyway to be honest, what harm is done rather than him throwing his toys out of the pram? cheers sparky

Dragon don't talk rubbish, mapping is easier than modelling depending on if you have built it in parts. If it is built in parts then you can select certain parts and map them pretty easily, make a template first using screenshots or blueprints and getting all the parts and then select only one bunch of faces, try the left hand side first and just modify in a batch in the unwrap uv bit once you have mapped the texture using uvw map and setting it on an axis. It is relatively simple and learnable in 30 mins, not sure about you but if mapping is near impossible then you must be doing it the hard way dragon. cheers sparky

The textures are from arena, but I made the mesh from scratch. i will look into adding those details you mentioned splinter. Thank you for pointing that out MoR, The shadows I will need to add in via photoshop afterwards as the renders for some reason don't show up any shadows. cheers sparky

Since nobody would send me their track scene, I was subjected to having to make my own which I have tweaked and tweaked for a while until I came up with this which I am pretty proud of. Comments on what I could improve on would be appreaciated. cheers sparky
