Latest one i been working on.

My new ATR car. And Walker u eva thought it might not be the league thats poo. As you will have noitced that the smell has followed you. So maybe check *downunder*.

Go to "Start" (at bottom left of screen). Then click "Run" (Usually situated bottom right-Just above the turn off computer option). Now where it says Open:THEN THERE IS A BOX TO TYPE IN. Type in C:\Windows\Fonts. This should then open up your font folder! Next what you will have to do is individually "Extract" all the font folders(where ever you have downloaded the folders too). And its just a simple case of dragging each truetype font file into the font folder you opened previous. This should then solve the problem you are having.

Is'nt the exhaust from the finninkin ??? Also looks abit like it could have came of the speak car. I have mkres'd a few cars in need of the 3d files(BUT AFTER ASKING THE MODELLER IF IT IS OK) I just find it easier to paint them when i have them in 3d dunno why but i just do. But can honestly say not once have i ever had that urge/notion to start moving things about or changin things as 1. The cars look fine as they are 2. To save the modellers just gettting totally pi**ed with us all and stopping them all together By this i mean creating them and releasing them for us ALL to enjoy.

He has just asked me to do em a new one which i started for em Have u's ever had that feeling that you have just wasted yer time I DO!!!!!!!!!

Try right clicking the layer then and going to blending options and making it 0% rather thn 100% (opacity) i think

Soz bud. I know u pm'd me askin the basics. I've just not had time to getting round to makinu up a small tutorial guiding you in the direction to start off. I use photoshop7(am a oldie) sticking to what i now best So i'll try and find some free time tonight and get a basic tutorial done to help you over a few off the hurdles(and i'm still jumping em) so it never stops

I have downloaded the trial version and the patch(cant mind wht it was called but i have it) and installed both. Once i open it up off desktop icon it opens up plays the video clip. Then opens up with three option bar down the left hand side. Sure there was a spanner,steering wheel and something else. Go's so far then music stops and its like the full game has crashed. Cant exit it or minimise it you have to turn comp off at the wall and start it up again ??? Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance

Open your checksheets. Then paste onto template before you position and size it. I would then highlight the check layer and right click the layer on the list and go to blending options then colour overlay. But there are many ways u can.

I agree to a extent with u aub. It was'nt to long ago dawson was followed dennis in and rolled him. So in my opinion if ifs good for one of them to play by there own rules. Then surely they have to expect others to join in and pay them the favour back. But oo no dawson had the toys out the pram before his car had even came to a stop. But then I witnessed in saloons a few weeks later two drivers who have been going at it with each other. Have another round started and were turning each other up the wall followin on home straight and tht. But i never saw any steering wheels gettin thrown out the windows or the runnin up to confront the other driver(u think dawson wud ave learnt from takin a few hits of forrest when he ran to confront him) It should'nt be encouraged and this i agree with but if one driver plays outside the rules. Then he gotta b ready to have it returned under the same style of move.

no no m8 it dont sound like your ripping me thats a good tip u have gave me . I just had a muck about to see what I could do cheers for the tip will bare that in mind cheers for the tip Glad u have taken them in the manner they were meant m8. And by the sounds of things taken them on board Lets see your final result now

Also add coachlines. This again as i stated is a small thing to do. But IMO makes a massive diffrence

For a beginner it's ok. But there a few things u could do to omprove it. These being the followin points:- 1. Spiler number HAS to be bigger. If not most position it towards the rear off spoiler . 2. The numbers going down the roof cage panels. Again maybe try gettin them a bit bigger and fitting to the panel better. 3. Where u have placed the "IG Racing". Is actually the roof. 4. I cant clearly make out what is on the small fin of the spoiler. (Something cjb.net) This again could be positioned better. This leaving u space for number and name maybe 5. You'll notice a big diffrence if u added a outline to your lettering. (photoshop) this is achieved by right clickin the layer u want to alter. Then BLENDING OPTIONS. And u'll find diffrent stuff in there from drop down shadowing,gradients,bevel and stroke(this being the outline). I hope it dont sound like i'm ripping your skins of fault. Cause that was not my intentions. I thought if i highlight a few SMALL easy to fix things. Your skins will benefit from it greatly. IMO its the small things that makes the biggest diffrence in skins for me. And it's usually the first thing people notice(SOD'S LAW) But for someone who has just started doin skins etc its a gd standard to work from. Keep it up

I agree with everything u say reg. And the model i have saw off yours is also IMO excellent. As i said as well i dont know the full ins and outs and was just statin my opinions. But if this was the case where you had sent a pm. Highlightin a few errors and were then giving a mouthful for your troubles. This might be why people are takin certain stances against people. But surely if someone who was intrested in joinin ukdirt and came on here reading what each of the modellers are sayin regardin prejects/models they are carrying out. This would put people of if it was only racers having a dispute over skins. Never mind modellers slating one and others work. U's ALL IMO do a great job(and long may it continue) cause without your time and hard work the game we ALL enjoy playing would'nt be at the standard it is today

I also dont know the full ins and outs to the topic. But surely anyone who is dedicated to the cause of modelling cars be it f1,f2,saloon,hot rods or a bangers for the game. Surely deserves the credit. Yer maybe he has got off on wrong foot with some people. BUT TO ME THAT DOS'NT ENTITLE THEM TO SLAG/DISRESPECT THE GUYS MODELS. After all were all in it for the same reasons. If they have s,all teething problems getting them into game, or problems when in the game ie dissapearin or damage slightly out. Would'nt it be better if someone who has the knowledge of the modelling side of the game. Help and advice him over pm's. This preventing folk from jumping on there cause and making it not worth his time. This is not only based towards anyone in particular. Just in general.

Thanks for the comments lads. Makes em that bit worth while doing em (when i get a chance) But anyway heres a racing scene as requested by him at the time.
