Last nite at ipswich the Team Pants racing brigade were out at foxhall in the rookie bangers , with me and jay on the spanners ( on the spanners not we are the spanners lol ) and pants behind the wheel of a mighty 1.6 ford sierra est we had a good nite in the john earrey memorial in the first heat we were clocked at 10 mph on the straight lol and in the second heat he went in hard so we had are work cut out to pull the front and get the rad changed so we could be out in the final , but we got it out and he got a few hits in before it gave up and went to the ford graveyard in the sky . Was an excellent nite and made a nice change from the serious side of things with the hot rod , the comment was made that being in a sierra that was broken and twisted was like being back in the lightnings but i cant think who said that ? lol
