Just heard a rumour aswell that Danny Hunt has been banned for 1 month - therefore missing the world final. I hope this isn't true, i'll find out later

When your out there racing your all wound up and quite often the officials do end up getting a mouthful, i know i've probably done it myself, sometimes you get the odd one thats a bit "thats more than my jobs worth!" but in general there all out there on your side, and without them who would wave the flags and pull you out of your wrecked cars!!!! So cheers guys!

Andy - just like to thank you and all the other officials etc for your help in getting me out the car. I wasn't too sure what the hell was going on at the time so thanks again to you and the others.

New for the summer the 654 saloon convertible

I'm alright thanks guys, bit sore and i think my necks a few inches longer than it was but other than that ok. There are some other photos on the crashattack website of the inside of the car which you should see if you haven't - i was very lucky to walk away i think!! Cabs - i was a bit wobbily on my feet, and i'm fairly used to that!!! Infact i was a bit like that saturday night in Partners!! And as for Danny Hunt, i can gaurantee you he knew nothing about it, he is not a cheat. He's obviously very upset about it, and as for when hes won championships before, hes been stripped and found all legal so don't go on about cheating before

Front bumper is well within the rules and definately higher than the likes of Dave Aldous etc. My back bumper is also an inch higher than it needs to be and has been checked every time as the car is low. If i had hit any other car in the track there would of been no problem, the 241 car is the only one i've ever seen that has gone for the higher limit rather than the lower limit as everyone else has. And i was told by the scrutineers at taunton its legal by 1/2" not 6". It also went up more and across after we all crashed so hopefully he'll make it so that it can't happen again. The rules need looking at, cause smashing engines up is not cheap

I hit Rob Copland 241 into the bend while being pushed by Darren Barnett 512 and just went clean underneath him and we all sailed right in the fence. It isn't just me who thinks its to high, before one of the races he needed a bump start out on the track and whoever it was behind him wouldn't do it cause they were worried they'd go underneath the bumper. If his car is within the rules then its not really his fault, but it certainly needs looking at! And yeah James, thats why i wasn't looking to happy, i don't mind getting damage and believe me i've had my fair share of it, thats racing, but we put bumpers front and back so things like this don't happen!

Smashed the radiator, and vernier and bent all the valves. The head is on its way back to Scotland to see what can be salvaged!! It all seems unneccessary damage though, theres no way someones bumper should be that high that you can go straight underneath it - but apparently its legal???? Rules need changing by the sound of it

Me and the drunken crew will definately be there Friday night as we are every year. Last year on the friday night after a few ciders we managed to get a dodgem over the barrier and put a hole in the wall! We will also be in the foam party being silly and falling over!

the gold stripe should have been going back to Sheffield, 402 was about half a lap in the lead when his petrol tank split and he therefore ran out of petrol, he was really unlucky cause he was flying and no one would have caught him. Hello to everyone i met in the bar saturday night, i know i met a few of you, Spudspeed???, unfortunately the cider got the better of me and wiped out my memory!!
