as long as your a fully paid up member then you should be able to use the upload tool on the uk dirt website. if for some reason its down try stickin it in the league forum you are wishing to race in and hope that the right people pick it up.

good stuff drummy, a lot of us will really appreciate this, real help to me. get me wheel in a few days so lets hope even i can put theory into practice.

If you have a look at Drumbsticks forum where his F1 stock car league is, theres quite a few other mods run on there. The nascar TPSCC mod league on there is probably worth a look as well, I hope to run in that sometime and I know Wrighty has been looking at it as well.

 

indeed, and cracking fun it is too......between 7 and 10 drivers involved atm (i havent done the last 2 meets due to crap ISP issues), good clean racing, well organised....top-drawer online racing

i've had a look and downloaded the mod and required patches so i might have a look tonight if anyone else is?

i think by the sounds of it your want to see if there any f1 stocks league which ukidrt guys race!

all i know of is 1 other and its free and thats drumsticks league u will have to ask drumstick for the link

yeah i know about that one, just see what other mods the lads race, as im fancy taking up some others, but just wanted to get some feedback from guys on here about any others. there are a few good mods, i actually quite like the wagon mod, bit hard to get used to but good fun, and the minis seem fun too, easy to drive. has any tried the powerboat mod yet? i know it was a WIP a while back, not sure if its finished yet, will have to check.

The best way to find out what something does to your setup is to adjust it all the way to the left first, have a go, then adjust it all the way to the right and see what difference it makes. That's how I learned myself in Heat. The same principles work in rFactor.

i see what you mean scrapman, but i think it would be nice to be able to know what that something actually does, not just if it makes you get faster times round the track lol. i think most members would appreciate that drumbstick but obviously appreciate that it will take sometime, especially when you have to word it so that we lesser technical minded people can understand.

lol, thanks, i am already aware of the mods available, i obviously didnt make my self clear enough.

i would like to know who, as in members of uk dirt, races in other mods and leagues and if so details of the leagues i.e. how much, who they are open to, which mods they use etc.

i know this may be the wrong place to post but i thought it may get the most covererage.

does anybody use any other mods and race in a league other than the f1 stockcars? i want my £25 to go a little further and would like some opinions on other leagues going on and a little info i.e. membership fees if applicable and even links.

i know i could go on the net and do a search but just wondering who here does anything else?

When all one shade the car looks nice and smooth. I think it's because I'm using Elements, Demonstate has given me a few tips on MSN so thanks to all who offered help. Appreciate it.

I think it also might have something to do with what screen or monitor you use as on my 19inch lcd at home, it doesn't look too bad, not very noticeable but on my 15 incher at work it looks terrible.

However, if these tips work, would you be kind enough to share?

as the title suggests, i need some help for birmingham. im new to the game and can't get my lap times below 14.5. after numerous attempts asking for help in the server tonight with no help, im asking for anyone for setup tips or even a decent setup for me to work on. with this being a new mod i would think that people who are pretty good at this early stage would be willing to help others out as a way of trying to get them into the game.

 

by the way im using an xbox 360 pad, i know wheels are meant to be better but until i get one i appreciate any help.

I've attached the setup I was using for pad around birmingham - not sure where i got it but it seemed to work ok for pad anyway (so sorry if someone downloads it and it turns out to be theirs lol!).

 

My best on this was 13.7 on the ragged edge, with 13.9s consistent.

i've finally got my 3ds max back up and have started on a garage scene, nothing special and nothing new but all the same i dont think its looking too bad. the objects you see here are not my own.

ive got it sorted now, just changed the properties of the short cut i use and checked the box run as administrator and it starts up straight away.

its beyond the system requirements for the game, and when it finally loads up it works perfectly, i just thought that maybe there was a compatability issue.

but i'm quite sure that my pc can handle it.

as i above i'm having a slight problem with rfactor. When i start it by clicking on the icon, it takes about 10 minutes before it decides to load up. Has anybody had this issue before and knows how to correct it? i have uninstalled and reinstalled it once already.

Is there any chance of someone doing me a skin in time for the skinpack?, Samson done me a skin for me to race offline but I can't get a hold of him to do the rest of the roof colours, I'm on holiday in a couple of weeks and I'm intending to race so I dont want to miss out on this skinpack.

Chassis = Black

Rails = Silver

 

106 on roof and chassis with visit New Zealand along both sides.

if its just a case of changing roof colours, do you have the photoshop files? if so its easy enough to edit, if not send me the photoshop files and i can do it. if you only have the dds files then im unsure of how to convert them back so you can edit them. maybe someone will know though.

It does say it's the first F2 he has painted....

i agree. to be honest, my first f2 skin was using decals that i had looked on the internet for so dont put him down for it. its a nice looking skin mate i would say. it is easy to do your own decals, try searching the internet and download new fonts, then mess around with the gradient overlay colours to create unique ones, simply make up a name of a company then add a phone number or website of it in a different colour and font, put them together and you have your own sponsor, it is easy, but it took me a few goes at getting it right, im still getting the hang of it after a few months but search google for photoshop tutorials too, you can learn all sorts in minutes, you feel a lot better when its your own stuff. aside all that, it is a good skin and your certainly on the right path already, just be a bit more individual and dont use the same decals that everyone else uses, saying that i use the chassis decals i.e. RCE or RANDALL decals as they look good but make the rest up your self.

Looks good Dazza, Tosh. Tosh sent me this today, didn't know he had done it, just a quick skin he says he didn't try hard on it etc lol...Dazza did render...the Allen Cooper helmet is awesome lol...
